Khalsa Care Foundation is supporting the community that surrounds the Gurdwara. Sikh community recognizes how the surrounding community maybe struggling to simultaneously maintain a roof over their head and food on the table. Sikhs are supporting the community by alleviating the worry about whether families will be able to feed their loved ones.

To help combat hunger, Los Angeles Sikh community started a Food Pantry, in 2013, at the Gurdwara. The pantry is open every Friday from 5:30-6:30pm. A volunteer-based Los Angeles Sikh community hands out food bags to over 400 families on a weekly basis. These bags contain enough food for the week and include perishable & non-perishable items, such as canned food, bread, cereal, pasta, fruits, & vegetables.
